Residences

Kerrinne’s main residence is the House of Ivory in the country of Ivory that resides on the northeastern-most part of the continent of RhyDin. The white brick castle has a very special place in Kerrinne’s heart as she has owned it for well over seventy years.  This is the oldest of Kerrinne’s residences, originally being called Castle Sneed and belonging to her late Grandfather.

General Bane Dark gave the Brotherhood of Darkness a city in the southern part of the Province of Foreboding called Elsandor, and Kerrinne took all of the areas of the Province of Foreboding with her when the Brotherhood closed except for the compound, Ambria Isle, and the BoD Naval Islands. Kerrinne fell in love with the city when she was looking for a place to find solitude. So she had Kincaid Keep there to provide a place for Brotherhood offices in the city, now a BoD Museum.

Elsandor is a quiet town for the most part on the edge of Black Water Lake. Kerrinne built her very own personal manor, Tywyll Maenol (Translation: Dark Manor) which sets just on this lake. Though small in comparison to a castle, it still has all the amenities one might expect from an upper class estate. Kerrinne spends some of the winters (January – March) here to get away from Ivory’s winter climates.

On her newly acquired province of The Dales, in her favorite city of Julissatown, Kerrinne has built a castle that dreams are made of, and she has named it after her granddaughter.  Castle Isabel is a wondrous place full of delight for all her visit her.  When the Queen and her family are not staying there, it is open to the public for a small admission fee, which helps pay for the upkeep of the castle, the grounds, and the staff.

In the capital city of Baliya on Baliya Island, Kerrinne has taken the old royal manor and renovated it turning it into her own.   The Jewel of Kassandra is one of Kerrinne’s favorite residences to spend a few weeks in the summer visiting.  While much smaller than her castles and manors, this manor house is no less impressive due to the vast and complex “Maze Rose Garden”.

Nestled near the ports of RoseHaven, the Ivory Ward is home to Kerrinne’s residence of Arddun Aderyn (Translation: Beautiful Bird).  This excellent piece of real estate belonged to a former RoseHaven noble who passed on with no descendants.  So Kerrinne purchased the whole estate, including the artwork on the walls.  She has, of course, redesigned the interior to her own personal tastes, but retains much of the appreciation of great art as the previous owner.  Each wall is covered as though an art gallery.
